I recently stayed at Il Bargellino for a short trip to Florence. The charming decor and friendly hosts made my stay enjoyable. The location near the train station was convenient for exploring the city on foot. The single room with a shower was perfect for me and I didn't experience any street noise. The rooftop garden was a peaceful spot to work with my laptop. Check-in was simple and the couple running the property were always available to help.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Santa Maria Novella train station, making it easy to arrive and depart Florence. It is also just a short walk away from the bustling food market, where you can find an excellent selection of breakfast options. Another great aspect is that some of the rooms open out onto a lovely terrace, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't have asked for more.

This hotel was a great find! Firstly, its location is absolutely perfect. It's so close to the train station and within walking distance to all the main attractions in the city center. Plus, being near the food market was a huge bonus - we loved grabbing delicious breakfast treats there every morning.
